Lemon Drop is an old-fashioned miniature rose with bright yellow flowers. Each flower has up to 35 petals and will create a splash in the Summer garden and containers. Yellow is a sought-after color in roses and Lemon Drop's color intensifies as the weather cools, the blooms have a slow, attractive fade. With its good vigor and attractive habit, this miniature rose is a great choice for front borders, accents in rock gardens, in planter boxes and containers. It will add charm to your garden and requires very little space. These bare root roses are shipped in the spring, allowing you to plant them while they are still dormant. Bareroot roses should be planted as soon as possible. If you are unable to plant your bareroot roses within a few days of receiving them, heel them in where you want to plant them. Dig a trench deep and wide enough to hold the roots and about 2-thirds of the top of your roses, place the roses in the trench and cover with soil until you are able to plant properly.
